What you can expect from a private yoga session:
Personalized Consultation: We'll begin with a conversation to understand your goals, experience level, any physical considerations, and what you hope to gain from your yoga practice.
Customized Practice: Based on our discussion, I'll design a yoga session that meets your unique needs and evolves with you over time. This means you can choose tp practice invigorating Vinyasa, strengthening Hatha, or relaxing Restorative yoga on any given day.
In-Home Convenience (Chicago): For those on the North Shore and in the Chicago area, enjoy the comfort and ease of practicing in your own sanctuary. No travel, just step onto your mat and breathe.
Virtual Connection (Anywhere!): Distance is no barrier! Through the convenience of Zoom or another provider, we can connect and practice together wherever you are, bringing the benefits of personalized yoga right to your screen.
Mindful Guidance: I'll provide clear and supportive instruction, ensuring you feel safe and empowered in each pose.
Hands-on Adjustments (Optional, In-Person): With your consent, gentle hands-on adjustments can help you find optimal alignment and deepen your experience.
Focus on Your Well-being: Whether you're seeking physical strength, increased flexibility, stress reduction, or a deeper connection to yourself, your private sessions will be a nurturing space to cultivate your well-being.
What you need for a private yoga session:
A Quiet Space: Choose a spot in your home where you have enough room to comfortably move your arms and legs in all directions without bumping into furniture. A little peace and quiet will also help you focus and relax.
Comfortable Clothing: Wear clothes that allow you to move freely without feeling restricted. Layers can be nice too, in case you warm up or cool down during the session. You don’t have to wear tight clothing!
A Yoga Mat: This provides a non-slip surface and cushioning for comfort and stability.
Yoga Blocks: These can help bring the floor closer to you in certain poses and provide support for better alignment. If you don't have blocks, sturdy books can often work as substitutes.
Blanket: A blanket can provide extra cushioning for knees or when sitting, and it's wonderful for staying cozy during our final relaxation.
Pillows or Bolsters: These can offer lovely support in restorative poses.
Yoga Strap: A strap can help extend your reach and deepen stretches. A belt or even a long scarf can sometimes be used as alternatives.

In-person Private Yoga
I will come to your home. You supply the yoga gear such as a mat and blocks, I’ll bring a portable speaker for music.

Virtual Private Yoga
Practice anywhere in the world. Sessions held on zoom or other agreed upon calling service such as FaceTime or WhatsApp.

Group Sessions
Want to practice with your spouse of a friend? Please add $15 per person, per session. Private lessons can accommodate up to 3 people. If you have more than 3 people, please schedule a private workshop.
Cancelations
I understand that life doesn’t always go as we plan.
If you need to cancel, please contact me at least 24 hours before your session to reschedule. I’m happy to work with you to find a time that will work. If you need to cancel with less than 24 hours notice, you may be subject to a $40 cancelation fee. If you don’t show for your session without any communication, you will be responsible for the full fee or forfeit the session from your package.
If I need to cancel, I will contact you with at least 24 hours notice to reschedule or refund you if applicable. Thank you for understanding and respecting the value of our time and energy.
